The Protein Future
Ramin’s talk will explore the global transition in farming and food production — how innovations in controlled environment agriculture, crop breeding, and alternative proteins can help correct the current inefficiencies and inequities in our food system. He will highlight work underway at the James Hutton Institute and discuss what structural and technological changes are needed over the coming decades to build a more resilient, climate-ready, and nutritionally sustainable future for food.
