Si is a chef, musician, and TV favourite having been a staple on British TV for over two decades. He has travelled the world and shared his love of food with his loyal audience.
Si has inspired and entertained audiences as one half of The Hairy Bikers alongside his late friend, Dave Myers. Together, they fronted over 30 television series, becoming national treasures with their infectious charm, unique blend of culinary expertise, humour and love of motorbikes.
The duo released 33 cookbooks selling over six million copies and achieving 26 appearances on the the Sunday Bestsellers list. Si's latest book, "The Best of the Hairy Bikers", has soared to No. 1 in the charts. Drawing on the Harry Bikers' hugely popular series of cookbooks, this new cookbook includes the definitive collection of best loved recipes from the nation's favourite cooking duo.
Si is no stranger to touring, and his latest UK live theatre show, "An Evening with Si King", took audiences on a trip down memory lane. In this personal and engaging tour, he shared stories from his life, offering a deeper look at the man behind the bike through heartfelt conversations, cherished memories and live music.
Drawing on his passion for music, Si is a percussionist for "Groovetrain", a multi-vocal funk-soul supergroup known for its Northern Soul sound and original cuts. He frequently collaborates with Groovetrain's Michael Lavery on various music, charity, and cultural projects.
Si recently launched PROPA, a grab-and-go pie restaurant in Sheepfolds Stables, Sunderland. Known for their hearty homemade pies, PROPA has been described as a "love letter" to the Northeast, with all ingredients locally sourced.
